The Lord’s Prayer

Whenever I’m in doubt about the right words to pray I say The Lord’s Prayer. After all, Jesus taught us to pray this way!

The Lord's Prayer

Spritual Sundays

Who Better to teach us to pray than Jesus? I find myself saying The Lord’s Prayer without even realizing I’m saying it sometimes. It’s the first prayer my daddy taught me and I remember him so well kneeling by his bedside saying it.

The Lord’s Prayer – Matthew 6:9-13

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

I hope you enjoy this lovely rendition of The Lord’s Prayer! Happy Sunday, Everyone!
